How it started
The “Universidad de La Sabana”, one of the most prominent institutions in Latin America, needed to unify its value proposition and services through a new digital platform.
To achieve this, we had to understand the needs of students, professors, administrative staff and their community, to integrate them into a single customizable platform tailored to each user’s profile. The app needed to reflect the University’s identity and include an architecture that would support the scalability of its ever-expanding services. Additionally, we were tasked with creating the identity of their virtual assistant and a communication plan for its key stakeholders.
Goal
Through consumer studies and usability analysis, we took on the challenge of co-creating a digital app that would meet the needs of the University community.
Our goal was to bring services closer to over 15,000 daily users, providing them with seamless access to all University services while connecting them with a new virtual assistant. This would enhance the overall 4.0 user experience.
Result
We successfully incorporated insights from various stakeholders within the University, resulting in a practical, scalable design.
The user-centered digital experience we created focused on ease of use, accessibility, and desirability. By integrating the University’s graphic identity with a modern digital approach, we worked closely with multidisciplinary teams at the University to add value through the user experience. We also developed a flexible digital structure for the UniSabana app, based on user-centric design principles, allowing for future functionality expansion based on evolving user needs.
