How it started
Our collaboration with AYEYA began in 2023, following the visionary leadership of Olowo-n’djo Tchala.
With a deep understanding of sustainable business practices and a strong commitment to improving living standards in West African communities, Olowo-n’djo founded Alaffia in 2004 and later AYEYA in 2023.
Through fair trade of African resources, AYEYA was created as a path toward poverty alleviation and gender equality. Inspired by this mission, we set out to do more than just create skincare and haircare products — we aimed to catalyze positive change in Togo, West Africa, by offering a full range of conscious products in the US market with a purpose to facilitate a life in balance.

Goal
Our mission was to develop a comprehensive brand strategy roadmap.
This included forming strategic partnerships for innovation and product development in Colombia, planning the brand launch and communications, and creating new branding, art direction, and packaging for over 54 SKUs. We also focused on designing a new website and digital ecosystem implementing various tactics aligned with the strategy to help AYEYA attract capital, expand its reach nationwide, and open new doors. All while ensuring the brand’s purpose remained at the heart of everything.

Result
Together, we reimagined what a beauty and lifestyle brand could be, harnessing the power of AYEYA to create shared value.
By developing community capacities, we improved access to economic opportunities and helped foster a supportive network for a brighter future. Today, AYEYA boasts a full portfolio of body care, home care, and lifestyle products, now available at major retailers such as Whole Foods and Sprouts. The brand continues to execute with the legacy of a strong brand identity that supports their core values and business purpose.
