How it started
Kenny and Sola’s journey, the founders of Elari, is deeply rooted in the vibrant landscapes of West Africa.
Both emigrated from Nigeria as teenagers, but it was soon after arriving in the U.S. that Sola faced a series of health challenges: food allergies, rapid weight gain, and emerging high blood pressure. They discovered they were missing the benefits of Tigernut Root, a staple in many West African diets.
This powerful root is a perfect ingredient for plant based milk, cereal, and more. Recognizing its potential, we partnered with them to introduce Elari Tigernut Root products to the U.S. market, offering a conscious way of nourishing the body.

Goal
Our challenge was to develop branding that connected with the West African origins of the product, followed by a strategic product development roadmap.
We began with Tigernut Root Milk, followed by Tigernut Root Cereal, each available in various flavor options. These products aim to meet the growing demand in the U.S. for healthy alternatives to traditional corn cereals and dairy. We also created a comprehensive strategy for launching the products, including website development, social media management, and growth tactics.

Result
The brand identity and packaging for Elari’s Tigernut Root products beautifully reflects the company heritage, mission, and story.
With a clear art direction and growth strategies, Elari is expanding its portfolio year after year.
The Tigernut Root Cereal has recently launched, available on Amazon and the brand’s website.
We continue to collaborate on the brand’s growth, from social media management and branding development to strategies and website updates.
