How it started

We first connected with the GoodSAM team in 2019—when the business was still just an idea.

From the start, we were inspired by their purpose, their vision for impact, and the opportunity to collaborate from the ground up with a team of industry experts in the U.S. CPG space,
led by Heather K. Terry.

That’s how we embarked on a partnership with GoodSAM, co-creating a meaningful business and serving as true allies at every stage of the process and throughout the supply network.
From farm to shelf, GoodSAM has been a powerful source of learning, growth, and innovation for both teams. Our partnership is truly unique, fostering mutual growth and collaboration as we learn from each other to drive meaningful change in our industries.

Goal

Our goal has been to support GoodSAM’s growth year after year—expanding sales, strengthening brand positioning, optimizing resources, and scaling its impact on the communities it sources from and the ecosystems it depends on. We achieve this through strategic Design, Innovation, Marketing, and Business Design rooted in Regenerative Principles.

Armed with insights, we meticulously refined their brand message for authenticity and resonance. Beyond words, we embarked on a creative journey, crafting a fresh visual identity that truly showcases their unique essence. This integrated approach, blending refined messaging and a captivating visual aesthetic, empowers our client to confidently communicate their values and engage their audience in a meaningful way.

Result

Today, GoodSAM operates in four product categories and has achieved nationwide distribution in the U.S. through Whole Foods, Sprouts, Fresh Thyme, Erewhon, and digital platforms like Amazon, Thrive Market, Misfits, and Hungry Root.

The company sources from Kenya, Ghana, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the U.S., following a shared-value strategy co-created with its stakeholders.

Our collaboration is rooted in synergy—working closely with GoodSAM on Business Strategy, Impact Model, Marketing & Communication Strategy, Brand Identity & Packaging Implementation, Art & Creative Direction, and New Product Development. As a strategic partner, GoodSAM is a daily example of how collaboration and shared vision drive meaningful growth and impact.

In early 2025 GoodSAM successfully closed its Series A investment round, raising $9 million to continue expanding across its entire value chain. With a strong presence on supermarket shelves, the company is solidifying its position as a leader in community empowerment through regenerative agriculture and outstanding products. Here’s to many more years of sales that drive impact and development.
